Install, configure, and hack on OpenDock with the same docs that live in the repository.

Milestone 2 builds from source. Windows installer packaging arrives in Milestone 7. Requirements: Node 20+, pnpm 9+, Rust stable (MSVC), WebView2, and Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools (C++).

pnpm install
pnpm dev

Configure the dock

  • Right-click the dock for position, size, theme, and startup options.
  • Drag widgets to reorder; layout persists in settings.json.
  • Invalid settings are quarantined and replaced with safe defaults.
