Short version: OpenDock doesn't collect anything about you, and neither does this website.
The OpenDock app
- No account, sign-in, analytics, telemetry or crash reporting. Nothing is sent to the OpenDock project.
-
Your settings, todos, notes, focus history, rules and calendar events are stored on your PC in
%APPDATA%\com.opendock.app. Calendar feed links are kept in Windows Credential Manager. - OpenDock reads window titles to show your open windows, but doesn't save them. The one exception is an automation rule you write yourself whose message includes a window title; that message is kept in the local activity log, which you can clear at any time.
- Only 2 widgets ever use the internet, and only when you set them up: Next event (your calendar host) and Weather (api.open-meteo.com, geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) . Every request is listed in the app's Privacy Ledger.
The full technical details are in the security and privacy model.
This website
- No cookies, analytics, advertising, trackers or third-party scripts and fonts.
- If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page uses it. It never leaves your device, and choosing "System" removes it.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Downloads, source code, issues and discussions are on GitHub, where GitHub's privacy statement applies.
